About the Book

CHALK DRAWINGS

THE CHALK WATCHERS SERIES

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Letters to women like me

Reflections on Motherhood,

Letters to Women Like Me is a heartfelt collection of letters, poems, and reflections by Gina Fogler, written for every woman who has ever felt weary, unseen, or unsure of where to begin again.

Through fifteen deeply personal letters, Gina opens her heart about motherhood, illness, loss, healing, and rediscovery. From her son’s meningitis scare to her own battles with breast cancer, anxiety, and major surgeries, she writes with unflinching honesty and unshakable hope. Each letter invites the reader to pause, reflect, and find pieces of their own strength in her words.

This is not a book about perfection — it’s a book about resilience. About learning to breathe through the fear, to stand again after heartbreak, and to see beauty even in the ache.

Each section closes with Soft Echo poems and Your Reflections pages, creating a space for journaling, release, and self-discovery.

Letters to Women Like Me is a companion for the quiet moments — a reminder that you are still whole, even while healing, and that your story is still unfolding.
